Over the past 40 years of Star Trek, there are only about 60 different ship classes that we've seen both on and off the screen. Since about 2002, I have designed starship classes, the ones depicted here are from January 2009 on, they are from the founding of the Federation to the late 24th century. Soon every ship will have it's own page with a design history, a list of ships with registry numbers and class specifications. I have tried to use registry numbers of the times for each class, contact me if there is a registry number error.
